IC3D.com gives the most options for designing your own denim. This creative freedom carries a price tag of $80 to $125 -- considerably costlier than a pair of Levis. But with a choice of 48 styles of denim (12 colors with four washes each), three leg shapes, four ankle styles and two types of waistband, you're likely to be happy with your purchase.

If you're concerned more about price than style, Landsend.com should suit you fine. The ordering process is simple, and for $54, customers have only one style choice, but seven color options. Other customizations include the waistline (above, at or below the navel), leg style (straight or tapered), and natural or relaxed fit. A coin pocket and back pockets are optional.

For similar simplicity but a younger look, Americanfitclothing.com has Quick Fit jeans on sale for $109; ordering requires just two measurements and two design specifications. This site also offers Made to Measure jeans ($119), designed according to eight measurements. An equally safe bet is Copy Cat ($119), a "clone" of your favorite jeans.

With the Internet, finding jeans you love might be a bit easier than finding true love. But who knows? A pair of perfect-fitting jeans may be just what it takes to catch the eye of your perfect mate.
